Q.hey everyone!
latitude was absolutely the best moment of my entire life ever, and i went on my own! a guy asked me if i knew what songs you were playing recently and i said, 'i dont think they do im a cukoo anymore' to which he looked dissapointed. then you roared into it second and he turned around and raised his eyebrows in a 'what do you know anyway?' kind of way. so glad you played it, i had to call absentee friends to make them jealous. did you know there was a circle of cuddling going on during Fox in the Snow? like a mosh pit but with hugging! anywhoooo... my question is will the new album be out by the time Bowlie 2 rocks around? i am so excited to hear it after seein the 2 new songs live! xxx
A. I think I saw the cuddling circle! quite near the front, over to my right slightly?
Glad you had a good weekend. We were all pretty into Latitude. Paul Heaton playing 'me and the farmer' was a highlight for me.

Q.Love 'I didn't see it coming'.You have a way with a tune Stuart! The synth intro sounds like Hawkwinds' 'Silver Machine'.(This is a compliment!)
A.
didn't write it! completely sarah.
Stuart - 19/07/10
not completely me, actually. significant contributions from the rest of the band and Mr Hoffer.

Q.Wow, I think that 'I didn't see it coming' is the best tune that Sarah has ever written, and 'I'm not living in the real world' is the best tune Stevie has ever written! Your songs on the new album better follow this pattern, Stuart.
A.
how do you know i wrote any?!
Stuart - 19/07/10
it's ok, everyone - you can rest assured that Stuart has written some absolute classics for this record.

Q.Hello! You probably get this question a lot, but I was wondering if you could possibly give me a lineup of the songs you will be playing in D.C.. I will be there (far back unfortunately) and am just completely excited. I'll have you know that I am cutting my school's homecoming formal dance for this!! I figured seeing you guys came before just about anything. :D
A. We probably won't know until that afternoon, so you're probably best just waiting for the surprise on the night.

Q.I can hardly express in words how much I love belle & sebastian! A few years back my friend (who goes to uni in glasgow, coincidentally) introduced me, and since then I've become "one of those" fans (the type who has b&s posters lining her dorm wall, lots of lyrics memorized, all albums purchased, and a prized ticket to your boston show this october...)
I also play piano, and so I wanted to ask whether you have come out with any sheet music that I can buy? My attempts to find some have been unsuccessful.
And on a more tour-related note, it would make me spectacularly happy if you could play The Model, Dylan, and I Fought in a War when you come to Boston.
A. tricky. we'll try to play the model for you if i remember.
there was a score book for 'fold your hands', but to be honest, it's as good if you sit down and work it out! it's good for the ear, and it's not too hard!

Q.Stuart- jeeez, is it your time of the month or something?? You've been acting proper radge lately!
A. sometimes the internet isn't the best for communicating sense and sensibility. if you were in the room with me, and i was arguing my case, you'd still sense that i'd rather kiss you than yell at you..
