After his recent show at the 13th Note in Glasgow, Stevie is taking his guitar to the U.S.A. at the start of 2008, with four shows in Los Angeles and New York.

He will be performing 2 songs at Walt Disney Concert Hall in L.A. on Tuesday 8th January as part of the L.A. Philharmonic’s “Concrete Frequency: Songs of the City” event, of which more details can be found here.

He will then fly across the country for three East Coast shows, supporting The 1900s at the Union Hall in Brooklyn on Thursday 10th January (more info), and with Richard Buckner at the Mercury Lounge on Friday 11th (info).

The following night (12th), Stevie will be playing ‘Visions of Johanna’ as part of the ‘Royal Albert Hall’ project, a recreation of Bob Dylan’s 1966 Concert, which is at the World Financial Centre’s Winter Garden. Admission is free, on a first come, first served basis. The event is part of the New York Guitar Festival and among the other acts featured are Laura Cantrell, Marshall Crenshaw, Nicole Atkins and Lenny Kaye and Jason Isbell of Drive By Truckers. (5)
