Belle and Sebastian dig the Olympics, love the Olympic ideal, love that the world gets together for a big ‘sports day’ once every four years.

We can’t be part of it, though we’d like to be.
So we recorded a piece of music with Rio In mind: specifically the Track and Field. Here it is – “Olympic Village, 6AM”

Next month we’ll be back in the capital, at this year’s On Blackheath.  We’re sharing the bill with James, Saint Etienne & Edwyn Collins to name but a few.  You can still pick up tickets for the festival here: http://po.st/OB2016

Stuart contributed to this year’s Secret 7″ project in aid of Amnesty International UK. The project takes 7 tracks from 7 of the best-known musicians around and presses each one 100 times to 7″ vinyl.  They then invite creatives from around the world to interpret the tracks in their own style for every 7″.  700 sleeves are then exhibited and sold for £50 a piece. You don’t know who created the sleeve, or even which song it’s for, until you have parted with your cash – the secret lies within..!

We can now reveal Stuart’s artwork for The Jam track ‘Art School’ below.  A massive thanks to Laura Glennie and all the students at Glasgow School of Art who worked with Stuart to make this happen!
